Located in France’s largest region, Midi-Pyrenées, 150 miles from the Atlantic, 90 miles from the Mediterranean, and nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenées Mountains, Toulouse is the country’s fourth largest city. The vast number of red brick buildings gives Toulouse an Italian appearance, but visitors will find a prominent Spanish influence. Touted as a southern city, its citizens enjoy the outdoors and guests will appreciate the ease of traversing the city and visiting its 140 parks and 40 fountain squares on foot. Entry Requirements

To visit France you will need:

a valid passport
possibly a tourist visa

Visa applications and further information can be obtained online at http://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/venir/visas/

A custom’s officer will ask you a few short questions when you arrive. To make this go quickly, keep your passport with you and not in your luggage.

The officer will stamp your passport or advise you how long you may stay in France. Feel free to ask questions if you are unsure about anything.

Invitation letter

Before asking for an invitation letter, please make sure that you are duly registered and have paid your registration fee. Online registration is available.

After having paid your registration, you will receive a confirmation registration by email. You will be given an access code which will allow you to log on to the registration website.

You can then click on the button "Invitation letter", enter one of the paper numbers you authored and click on the "Submit" button : your invitation letter will be automatically sent to you by email.
