Title: DEPENDENCY BETWEEN ERROR VARIANCE OF THE A PRIORI INFORMATION AND A MODIFIED CHANNEL NOISE VARIANCE IN TURBO-EQUALISATION

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a method based on the modification of the channel noise variance at the equaliser input in order to improve the performance of a turbo-equaliser. We will show a relation between the modified channel noise variance and the a priori information statisitcs. The simulation are done for 2 types of turbo-equalisers.
