| Abstract: | Media authentication aims to judge the integrity of media content in the sense that malicious tampering should be detected while incidental modifications should be tolerated. This study investigates the resistance of a semi-fragile watermarking method to incidental manipulations with focus on resisting compressions with lower bit rates. To this end, we develop an informed authentication watermarking scheme based on reconstructing transformed-domain stego data in the sense that the effect resulted from incidental modifications can be efficiently eliminated through reconstruction. Statistical analyses and experimental results are provided to validate the proposed method. | ||
